Privacy Policy
Effective November 6, 2026
The short version: our games don't ask for your name, email or any account, and we don't sell or share your information. Your player names, characters and progress stay on your own device. We only receive anonymous technical crash reports that help us fix bugs.
Who we are
Daver Studios is a game studio of Hashtag Media Solutions, Inc., a New York company ("we", "us"). This policy covers our websites (daverstudios.com and dafootgolf.com) and our games, including DA Footgolf™ for iPhone and iPad.
Information we do not collect
- Our games don't require an account or sign-in, and don't ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts or photos.
- There is no advertising and there are no in-app purchases in our games at this time.
- We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.
Information stored only on your device
When you play, the game saves things like player nicknames, the characters you design, your stars, scores, coins and settings. This information is stored only on your device. We can't see it and it is never sent to us. Deleting the game, or using "Reset progress" in the game's settings, removes it.
Anonymous technical data
Our games are built with Unity, a game engine made by Unity Technologies. If the game crashes or hits an error, the game may send an anonymous technical report (for example the device model, operating system version, game version and the error details) through Unity's diagnostics service so we can find and fix the problem. These reports don't include your name, contact details or anything you type in the game. Unity's handling of this data is described in the Unity Privacy Policy.
Beta testing through TestFlight
If you test one of our games before release through Apple's TestFlight, Apple shares with us the name and email address used to invite you, basic information about your device, crash logs, and any feedback or screenshots you choose to send. We use this only to run the test and improve the game. Apple's handling of this data is covered by Apple's own privacy policy and TestFlight terms.
Our websites
Our websites don't use cookies, analytics or tracking. They are hosted by Cloudflare, which may process technical information such as your IP address to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads.
If you contact us
If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply and help you, and we don't add you to any mailing list.
Children
Our games are made to be enjoyed by players of all ages, including families. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The game doesn't ask for personal information, and any player nickname stays on the device. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has sent us personal information (for example by email), contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we add features that would change what information is collected (for example online play, leaderboards, purchases or ads), we will update this policy before those features are released and change the date at the top of this page.
